Issue 20 ‘Global challenges, regional solutions: Rethinking Regional Development Policies’ of Regions ezine has just been published.
Our group also contributed with the article Logistics city-regions in transition: New spatial imaginaries in Spain and Italy, in which Simonetta Armondi and Beatrice Galimberti discuss how planning and policies on freight villages and other logistic settlements constitute a relevant spatial issue for the future of city-regions, going beyond the question of the movement of goods.
This contribution is part of a research on the freight villages of Verona and Zaragoza (Quadrante Europa and PLAZA) and funded by MeRSA Grant 2022 ‘Logistics city-regions in transition. New spatial imaginary?’ (PI: Simonetta Armondi).
